Anthony “Tony” Jimenez is the award-winning  President & CEO, and founder of MicroTech,named for three consecutive years by Hispanic Business Magazine as the No. 1 Fastest Growing Hispanic-Owned Business in the Nation. Since founding MicroTech in 2004, Tony has grown the business into a profitable quarter of a billion dollar company with 450 highly skilled professionals in 30 states supporting more than 100 prime contracts and more than 25 procurement vehicles with key civilian agencies and service branches of the U.S. Federal government.

As a former government executive with more than 25 years experience in information technology, strategic planning, enterprise, transformation, and acquisition management,Tony guided DoD efforts to solve complex and critical platform transformation challenges facing government organizations. He has an extensive background in project management, large-scale IT systems implementation and infrastructure, enterprise business re-engineering, systems integration and cloud computing.

Tony is a passionate advocate for the Veteran, Hispanic and Small Business communities. He serves on a number of panels and councils and speaks at numerous conferences and trade shows as an expert on entrepreneurship, government contracting IT, and diversity business.

As a respected business owner and successful entrepreneur, Tony has testified before Congress and the Senate, collaborating on legislation designed to improve opportunities for small business owners. In 2008, he was invited to the White House to meet with the President regarding the economic growth package and the benefits it will have on businesses of his size. He has recently advised President Obama’s Economic Recovery Board and met with the President during his historic trip to Puerto Rico. Tony has received numerous awards for his efforts including Small Business Person of the Year, Veteran Champion of the Year; CEO of the Year; Executive of the Year; National Corporate Advocate of the Year; Minority Business Leader of the Year; and one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics in the Nation.

Tony is a published author and has been featured on several top television news networks and in a number of nationally recognized newspapers and magazines. Tony has received numerous letters of appreciation and commendation from senators, congressmen, governors, government officials and community leaders, as well as a letter of gratitude from President George W. Bush commending Tony for his dedicated efforts and leadership. MicroTech is a recipient of the U.S. Small Business Administration “Administrator’s Award for Excellence,” the U.S. Hispanic Advocacy Association “Bravo Award” for a commitment to diversity and philanthropy, the CRN Diverse 100 as one of the nation’s Top Diversity Suppliers, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce “Blue Ribbon Small Business” Award. The company’s commitment to community support led to Top Corporate Philanthropist recognition by the Washington Business Journal.
